2 HOUR FARM TOUR & HIGHLAND COW FEEDING



One of the most memorable, rescue animals at Eventide Sanctuary is the group of 4 big Highland Cows.  These are very big, friendly boys who Ian has built up trust and connection with over a long period. Many evenings sat in the bush with them, slowly gaining their trust.

 Take a trek through the large, beautiful property of Eventide with Ian and Wally. Find where the boys are chilling out for the day and spend some time with them. You will spot many of the other rescue animals along the way! Might even spot a cheeky native Wallaby or Wombat on route!

Anyone with mobility issues can be taken to the cows by vehicle but it does require a basic level of mobility as this is a true bush experience.

Once we locate the friendly giants, we will conduct some hand feeding and amazing photo opportunities with the safety and guidance of Ian. 

This is a real chance to experience interacting with Highland Cows in a free-range, natural environment on their own terms and conditions! Very different to a commercial experience of interacting with them in an enclosed paddock.

This is not so much a tour, but more a genuine experience. This is roughly a two-hour experience and will really be a memory you will cherish for a long time. Once you see the cows up close and experience their beautiful nature you can see why they have become a social media favourite!
