• Qualified Australian Driving Instructor License. Car and Motorcycle.
• Vast overland, remote journeys around the world. Mostly solo with no back up.
• Himalayas (solo in winter), Alaska to Mexico, Africa, South East Asia, Remote travel around Australia and New Zealand, held record of most solo kilometres travelled on the Trans Euro Trail and many more.
• Experienced recovery mechanic including seasons spent on The Telegraph Track at Cape York and Fraser Island.
• Vast solo adventures around Australia including Simpson Desert Crossing, Canning Stock Route, Gary Junction Highway and many more iconic routes.

Ian can tailor a package according to your skill level including;

• Understanding the functions of your vehicle. How and when to use.
• Safely experiencing hills, slopes, and tracks on private property with an instructor.
• How to safely use a winch, snatch straps and recovery equipment.
• How to change a wheel, jump start a vehicle and set tyre pressures.
• How to carry out daily checks on your vehicle to prevent costly breakdowns.
• Basic map reading skills.
• Huge amount of experience around all areas of Australia so can assist with route planning and timeframes.
